As a student of this academy years ago, Farber’s academy not only prepares you for your exams… but also provides the tools to be “ahead of the game.” Slowly building up from the foundation, I was able to build on to my existing knowledge in English and Math. When going back to school, I felt ahead of my fellow classmates and was breezing through the material. That being set, this academy prepares you extremely well for the specialized exams and for your child to be successful in school.

Dr. Farber's classes have truly had a major impact on my life for the better. His class helped tremendously as you were always with kids that had similar goals to you and were eager to learn just as much as you were. Dr. Farber's classes not only helped me do extraordinarily well on the SHSAT but assisted me to do better in school too. To say that I could not have gotten into one of the top schools in the country without his help in a drastic understatement.I highly recommend these class to anyone that is interested in doing well. I attended Farber's SHSAT Math & English classes, and got a score high enough to get even into Stuyvesant. His classes are saturated with useful information that helps you achieve the perfect score in exams. The teachers are more than willing to help students with any problem that they (the students) don't understand. I'm now back for Farber's SAT classes to be accepted into my dream college. Would definitely recommend this program to anyone who wants to achieve his/her goals.
Because of Dr. Farber's great methods of teaching, time conservation skills, and his exposing of students to fresh, new, and, most importantly, relevant, material, I received an offer to Stuyvesant High School, the most prestigious specialized high school in New York. I wouldn't have been accepted were it not for Farber's experience and care for what he does.

My son has been going to Farber Academy for the past 5 years, initially to get into Mark Twain, then to Stuyvesant and he is now prepping for the SAT. It clearly helps and my son likes it a lot. Both the Math and English preparations not only helped my son to pass the exams, but they also significantly increased his school grades. Discipline in class and homework checks create motivation and learning skills. I highly recommend Dr Farber Academy to all kids as early as possible.
